Chris Freeman, author and editor.

Chris Freeman teaches at the University of Southern California. He holds a PhD in English and queer studies from Vanderbilt University.

Chris is the editor of four books: the Lambda Literary Award winning ISHERWOOD CENTURY (2000); CONVERSATIONS WITH CHRISTOPHER ISHERWOOD (2001) and the Lambda Literary award finalist LOVE, WEST HOLLYWOOD (2008), all with James Berg. He also edited John Carlyle’s Hollywood memoir UNDER THE RAINBOW (2006).

He can be seen in two documentaries: CHRIS AND DON: A LOVE STORY (2008) and SAVE THE BOOM (2008). He lives in West Hollywood.
